Services
Van Asch Speech Therapy offers virtual therapy to Virginia and North Carolina residents and in-person therapy to children in the Greater Richmond Area. Parent Coaching
Parent coaching allows for parent-therapist collaboration, teaching, and support in order to help parents use effective techniques and tricks at home!
Screening
A brief screening is conducted to determine if there are potential deficits in a child's speech. After the screening is completed, the speech-language pathologist will review the results and provide recommendations. Further assessments may not be warranted, but if they are, the screening fee will be applied toward the assessment service fee.
Assessment
Assessments are completed by certified and licensed Speech-Language pathologists to determine a child's current level of functioning in the areas assessed. Results of the formal and informal assessments will be provided in a report, complete with background information and recommendations.
Therapy
Based on the evaluation completed, an individualized therapy plan will be created to address areas of concern. Therapy frequency and duration will be determined at this time, based on severity and availability. Treatment approaches used are also based in evidence and continuously changing to meet our client's needs.
